Kawasaki Disease can Improve Autism: A Case Report and Literature Review

In this paper, we report a case of autism in child who was cured Kawasaki disease and the condition significantly improved. (KD), also known as cutaneous mucosal lymph node syndrome, first reported by Japanese doctor Tomaku 1967. recent years, domestic foreign studies believe that pathogenesis KD is related to infection, genetic susceptibility immune response, its treatment still need be further studied. The occurrence may based on predisposition triggered environmental factors during critical period establishment at age 1-3 which causes immune-mediated inflammation, changes permeability gastrointestinal tract blood-brain barrier, leads chronic inflammation central nervous system, thereby affecting neurogenesis, migration synaptic construction.
